Our Journey
uMake started as a coworking space that makes life easier for entrepreneurs, startups, and individuals to find a supportive community, and a collaborative environment.
During the journey, uMake found that the entrepreneurs need more than that, due to the lack of the needed support and expertise in the ecosystem, uMake team decided to step up and launch the world’s largest pre-seed accelerator in Palestine, The Founder Institute program, to help early-stage entrepreneurs launch their startups and provide faster access to the market and funding.
This year 2021, the IPSD Project partnered with uMake on IGNITE Investment Readiness Program, a 10-weeks coach-led program to support early-stage startups become investment-ready combined with a pre-investment grant.
Meanwhile uMake continues contribution to evolving the startup community in Palestine by hosting and organizing ove 200 community events, such as community gatherings, networking events, workshops, fireside chats, and major conferences in Palestine like 7amleh-PDAF forum and BuildPalestine Summit.
